Meet Mr. Soto
Mr. Emmanuel Soto
Emmanuel Soto teaches elemental music and movement to 3rd and 4th grade studets and beginning band to 5th grade students in the Romoland School District. He has a BM in Music Education from San Diego State University and has studied Orff Schulwerk Pedagogy and Movement with David Thaxton, Joshua Block, and Drue Bullington.
He was instrumental in the development of the San Diego Youth Symphony's Community Opus Project and helped to bring music education back into the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Emmanuel has directed orchestras and bands across Southern California, Mexico, and Brazil and has studied conducting under Matthew Rowe, Shannon Kitelinger, and Mario Miragliotta.
