Burton, Roxana

Hello! I am very pleased to be a part of a wonderful group of teachers and staff at Romoland Elementary School. I am currently teaching first grade. 

I began my teaching career 24 years ago in the Long Beach Unified School District. I later moved to the Las Vegas area where I continued teaching both second and third grade. I received my master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Teaching and Learning.

I believe in teaching the fundamentals to children in an engaging and interactive environment where students have the opportunity to learn from one another. This keeps learning fun for both students and myself and allows each child the opportunity to show their learning in diverse ways.

I look forward to working with all students and helping them reach their educational goals.
